Haussmann

Haussmann was envisioned as a luxury boutique department store at the Rokin in Amsterdam, designed as a new high-end retail destination of approximately 7,000 m². The concept aimed to bring next level luxury to the city, combining fashion, beauty, dining and services in a fully integrated retail experience.

During my time at SVT, we were involved from the very beginning of the project. Together with the team, we developed the concept, branding, retail design and bid book. Every aspect of the department store - from layouts and customer experience to visual identity and communication - was designed in detail and ready for realization.

Although the project was ultimately not realized and the building later became a Hudson’s Bay store, Haussmann remains one of the most ambitious retail concepts I worked on.
