Design isn't where it starts.
Before designing, the real question is more fundamental: what does a brand need next? Where’s the market heading? What are the brand opportunities? How could an organisation evolve?
For me, this is the sweet spot, this is where I'm at my best. This is where strategy and creativity come together.
Looking at organizations with fresh eyes, connecting ideas and imagining what could exist next; a concept, a service, a new way of showing up in the world. This is my goal. Helping organisations see new directions and visually translate this to new concepts, services, a voice, a brand feel or design.
Design often follows.
But it rarely starts there.

I’m a designer and artist based in Weesp, and mother of four wild girls; so chaos, creativity and multitasking come naturally. With over 10 years of experience in retail graphic design for major brands, I work as a freelance creative across both commercial and cultural projects. I’m fast, flexible and like to keep communication short and direct.

I combine strong visual storytelling with concept development and strategic thinking, shaped by my own entrepreneurial experience running an international hair vitamin brand (Sweet Bunny®) and publishing the 'Ik Boek', a children’s journal. Alongside my design work, I paint; the more intuitive part of my practice where colour, texture and imperfections take the lead.
